One of the main writers on SciBlogs is Alison Mary Campbell a recently resigned lecturer at Waikato University.
Alison won’t for the life of asking confirm her qualifications to anyone.
Zoology Alison, zoology. It’s a specific specialization. Why so coy?
One of the main commentators on SciBlogs is the rather non PC Herr Doktor Bimler (not so coy then I guess).
Herr Bimler seems very friendly with the site moderators but unfortunately you cannot comment on SciBlogs anymore, for some strange reason they ceased this feature in October 2020.
Anyway lots of commentators to the blog have unsuccessfully asked Alison Mary Campbell for confirmation of her qualifications. All she has ever done is state that her PhD was in the biology jurisdiction. I’m not sure that monitoring swans near Palmerston North qualifies as biology or not, Alison, but it certainly doesn’t qualify you to talk about vaccines authoritatively. Nor does being an idiot qualify you.
In the interests of transparency here is Alison’s PhD thesis done under her maiden name, Bimler.

The number of times a scholarly work is cited is a rough indicator of the value accorded it by the scientific community. It is therefore instructive to put "The behavioural ecology of the population of black swan (Cygnus atratus Latham) on a Manawatu dune lake" into Google Scholar and look at the number of citations.
I worked as a mechanic. I watch videos about aviation. That doesn't mean that I am an A&P mechanic
