Not making this up, and yes I understand the MAD ‘philosophy’ of the US and the Soviets that prevailed from the 50s to the 80s. Check out the bit that follows though. It’s an opportunity for those who “negotiate honestly and substantial long-term risks for those who aren’t”. In other words climate doom allows them to decide on your future, if you have one.
