Gee this is good news right?
Oh there’s some conditions? You will need to isolate on arrival* (or not, see update at bottom). You need to have a pre-departure test for the latest version of the virus which is XE which kind of sounds a little like a Windows Operating System right? You will need to have further rapid antigen tests on days 01 and 5 or 6 (or is that 5 & 6). Gee what fun. Ski Coronet Peak, enjoy the bars of Queenstown, hang out at a second rate burger joint and finally, and most importantly, make sure you RAT test 2/3 times. Welcome to NZ.
In the meantime we also find that Ardern’s Nazi government is doing a trial with Air New Zealand using “innovative” LAMP technology. That also sounds computerish but in the Linux frame of reference this time. But it’s great to know that nerds are in charge of naming all these things, isn’t it?
You’ll also need an NZeta before you enter our fascist dependency even if you are from one of the visa waiver countries. Is that NZ eater or an N Zeta visa one asks?
In regards to the isolation requirement, sorry but I have not been able to isolate it. Must be a virus I guess. It’s either 7 days or 14 days. I’ve no idea how it works in reality. My guess is that you can probably ignore it. You might get into the local newspapers though so do that at your own risk.
Finally one has to hope that no rules change before returning home either at destination, departure point, anywhere along the way or in the air.
You and yours have fucked the tourist industry over She/her Jacinda. Well and truly.
Open the fucking borders to everyone, now, you piece of shit.
* Update: Whisk has pointed out that the highlighted text states no isolation necessary. I seemed to have missed the ‘not’. So likely no isolation is required unless you test positive (an all too easy thing to do unfortunately).
And I will never travel anywhere that requires me to prove I'm "well" first. This is nothing but training the people to give up their bodies to the state and do what their told without question. Haven't taken a test for a cold, and don't ever plan on having anything rammed into my skull for any reason whatsoever. These people, and those who go along with them, are insane. I'm fed up with every one of them.
Do holiday makers want to come here; maybe to study the compliant citizens and get tips.
Voyeuristic tourism, like going to Nth Korea.
