So Jacinda has resigned
Who will get to replace her?
I will flesh this out more later, but Jacinda was a WEF girl so whoever gets to replace her won’t get the same uncritical press. Much like our current Mayor and our previous Mayor here in Dunedin (yes I am here at the moment, ever so briefly). So who are the contendors to replace Jacinda Ardern?
Kiri Allen, ambitious but terrible and racist (in that she thinks that TERFs are all white) and woke. (see reference to TERF but Kiri is on the wrong side of this argument). Undoubtedly the choice of the woke. If she’s selected and then elected civil war will be the result.
Megan Woods - not terrible, not great so she’s my choice. Still woke though and has jumped on the TRANS bandwagon in the past. In other words best of the worst.
Chris Hipkins. If you want someone to laud Chris there’s no better person to ask than Chris. I don’t like him and he was deeply involved in the COVID shit. Was involved in “Young Socialists” along with Ardern.
Michael Wood is deeply, deeply unsuited to the role. Especially as he has coverups in his background already.
Nanaia Mahuta is not liked very much in this country and there are questions about her pushing her family members into Government roles and corruption (but this is common here). She got tatted up about 7 years ago I guess to be authentically Maori or maybe she needed more bad arse. So she doesn’t look like this anymore.
From left field?
Grant Robertson the Deputy PM, has said he won’t do it. And in my view he is not up to it. Also a “Young Socialist”.
Andrew Little, Dunedin Hospital will sink his chances
Willy Jackson, yes well we’re all allowed to joke occasionally.
Me? Not possible, you have to be a member of the Labour Party for a certain amount of time and that’s longer than a few days.
Nobody else comes to mind. But if I think of them later I will add them.
Whoever does take on the role will likely get defeated by Ardern Lite (otherwise known as Luxon the leader of the supposedly right wing National Party) in a few months.
I found out that she’d resigned from this comment.
