Somethings Happening Here
Everybody look what's going down
Earlier this morning sitting in a chair near the window listening to a podcast of Delingpole with Sam Bailey (thanks Rob), and not for the first time in the last few years I heard a loud bang as two cars whacked into each other. I was up in the window fast enough to see a green car heading down the bank. I didn’t see the black car stopped on the road as this article suggests but I was told something very much like that by the other driver. I was pretty concerned about how the occupants of the green car were going to be.
So I grabbed my phone rang 999 (yep it’s 999 here) and grabbed my shoes and was down at the car in about 3-4 minutes (at a guess) still talking to the emergency operators. I think there were 3 kids, the young boy looked pretty shaken, all the kids were taken by a neighbour to sit in her car. The police and Fire were there pretty quick. An ambulance drove by but was heading to another incident up the hill and everyone did seem ok at that stage so they kept going. But maybe 5 minutes later the woman in the Green car complained of a sore back (she was sitting in a chair at this stage) and a sore head (I think). Eventually the ambulance turned up but not before the raging boyfriend did. The fact that his? kids were ok and his partner was mostly too did not seem to assuage him so I’m not going to say anymore than this article does about the accident other than I suspect from what I was told some sort of black out of the driver of the other car. Who did not run from the accident and was one of the first ones down to help out the occupants of the green car.
Jabs? I didn’t ask. Story linked on photo as usual.

And yes the road is too narrow, there’s little they can do about it except to remove the parking from the other side of the picture above or put some speedbumps on the road. I’d be in favour of both.
In other news the insane PM that we have is moving to stage two of her red light shit. Which has closed down all (or close to it) hospitality in Queenstown, a normally very busy resort town. The woman whom I heard talking about this on RNZ today was livid about it. Good luck NZ Government you’re going to need it as I consider the possibility of you being overthrown reasonably high at the moment.
And what I also want to know is who is going to service Klaus and his wife when they want to go skiing aye?
