Earlier this morning sitting in a chair near the window listening to a podcast of Delingpole with Sam Bailey (thanks Rob), and not for the first time in the last few years I heard a loud bang as two cars whacked into each other. I was up in the window fast enough to see a green car heading down the bank. I didn’t see the black car stopped on the road as this article suggests but I was told something very much like that by the other driver. I was pretty concerned about how the occupants of the green car were going to be.
So I grabbed my phone rang 999 (yep it’s 999 here) and grabbed my shoes and was down at the car in about 3-4 minutes (at a guess) still talking to the emergency operators. I think there were 3 kids, the young boy looked pretty shaken, all the kids were taken by a neighbour to sit in her car. The police and Fire were there pretty quick. An ambulance drove by but was heading to another incident up the hill and everyone did seem ok at that stage so they kept going. But may…
