I keep my eye on it. I used to play on the wings. But it's becoming very formulated so these days I don't mind if I miss it. And truth be told I figure that I would have preferred playing soccer/football in my youth. But that was not the way of the Waikato/BOP where I grew up. Sport is good though.
I know guys (and gals) in Academia. Most of them are honest and do good work. But there is the occasional malicious one. They get restricted a lot and rely on grants to large extent so rocking the boat is career ending in a lot of cases. You can see the grants issue playing out in the Epstein files.
Malicious ones that I can think of are Michael Baker and his mate whose name escapes me for now and the likes of Siouxsie Wiles who I had big stoushes with from 2020.
I feel quite at home in NZ or Australia. And to a certain extent in the UK as well. Dunedin was my home from 2010 to 2024. Melbourne before that from 1990 with a sojourn in Sydney for 5 years. About 5 years in UK/Europe as well.
Not sure what was amusing. But I might edit as there are too many fuckers on this platform who are using personal info in attempts to rile me. Normally they insult and then block me. Common strategy and knowing about my personal history when the post on it is hidden suggests common origin.
