I agree, he does tend to waffle. I found it hard to stay focused on what he was saying as he was jumping around the issues, but I am not familiar with the area, so some of it was lost on me. It would have been good to have heard some courageous solutions, but he just made
standard excuses which we are all tired of hearing and seemed hesitant about public resistance.

I didn’t find him inspirational at all.
I don't think that the guy who followed him found him inspirational either. He's a poor advertisement for Dunedin.
