Mostly mice, Adam Michnik of Solidarity says: Poland's self-limiting revolution was not about seizing state power. The model proposed by the Solidarity movement was that of a self-governing commonwealth, working from enterprise to town to central institutions of the state. Its program was very realistic – gradual action, avoiding open conflict – but in many respects it was also self-deluding, for such a model of democracy has never functioned anywhere in the world. What mattered, though, was that the movement was open for new forms of compromise. As for the communist authorities, still subjected to brutal pressure from Moscow, they were unable to offer any sensible model of coexistence. Their position became weaker every day. In order to protect themselves – perhaps also to protect the country from Soviet intervention – they reached for the final argument. On the night between 12–13 December 1981, martial law was imposed. The Solidarity leaders were arrested; the union itself was suspended, then banned.
As a Boomer (but not elderly... yet! lol) I certainly understand why so many young people get disgusted by the older people who set that disgusting example mentioned in your post. We don't give a good GD if you want to wear an effin mask to *protect yourself* (even though we know they don't do a bit of good), just leave the rest of us alone, and if your scared stay the F home. Anyway, thanks for the update Rich. My genuine prayer is that we bring these monsters to justice as you mentioned. We have to this time. If we don't march these people to the stand and grill them under oath and put them somewhere for a long time this will never stop. They can't wait for round two.
I don't believe anything she says.

People assent to governance. Who dares bell the cat?
Are we the cat or the mouse?
I'm wondering why the police in Canada didn't just call in sick.
A lot of these boot lickers like to boot kick like bullies it seems.
Whatever, they're serving pieces of crap like chrystia who thinks emergency powers can be permanent. What morons!

Yes same. I guess some 20yos might call me elderly.
There's 9 of them. They all need to go in that direction.
One. 9 marionettes.
One corporation. 9 puppets, 6 masquerading as Premiers, 2 as chief ministers & one as Prime Minister.
6 State governments, 2 Territory governments, one federal government.

Basically yes. That's 147 corporations. But you can guarantee that shareholders are common amongst them all. And that they act as one.
