My failsafe way to measure a protest crowd is how long it takes to go past.

It's like droving animals. (Joke)

Agreed. Last summer there was a huge London protest that took an incredible 90 mins to pass by (the one before had taken 30 mins). By September it had fizzled out to a measly 7 minutes.

Martin B, you're the best. Measuring isn't all about numbers is it? Well, numbers of minutes is actually easier to grasp than some great numbers in the sky sort of thing.

Anyway I was a country girl and did some droving, and when protesting the mandates I felt like a member of the flock, even though it was a different flock to that which I was mocking.

I lie, was only moving stock from farm to farm, not to market.(edit)

Hey, there is a Japanese way of measuring distance Ri? anyway, without doing an internet search which is no fun, but searching my brain instead while I still have one, means something like how far an average man can walk in an average day.

So how many ri do you live from New York? I don't know how this works over water, maybe someone can walk over water eg Klaus, Cindy, Fauci, Trudy, Gates.

the US Government rubber stamped Musks’ ventures with extravagant tax breaks and subsidies... he was ‘selected’... he’s a member of the ‘club’...

Tesla’s are the poster cars for strip nickel and cobalt mining & child labor abuse... Musk’s dirty not-so-secrets:

That's a minor triviality compared to the environmental cost of the oil-based transportation well-to-wheels emissions and the much worse wind & solar emissions which include all of the above and a whole lot more. Teslas (BEV's) will greatly reduce overall emissions and thereupon probably save ~3M lives/yr if BEVs were fully adopted. Like any commodity (including vegan foods) needed by our industrial society, you can do it clean or you can do it dirty, the choice basically falls on the heads of our elected politicians who nowadays only care about those things when they get big corporate donations that tell them "focus on this".

Unfortunately lot's of people believe in the perfect world of sunshine, lollipops and the enchanted forest. Believing in such things is a guaranteed way to cause mass starvation, poverty, endless war, violence and environmental degradation on a scale never before seen. Greenies are the most destructive people on the planet. Interesting how heavily financed and supported they are by the Davos Club-of-Rome Malthusian Psychopath Parasite Banksters.

Teslas surely rely on having a clean source of energy. If that energy is coal or gas how is it even possible for them to be cleaner than cars running on fossil fuels directly without powerline and battery losses of energy before use that have to be incorporated into those use calculations.

I'm all for getting us out of fossil fuel transportation but sanely, not insanely.

Expand full comment

No even operating off of coal electricity Tesla's are cleaner than a comparable ICE vehicle in full lifecycle wells-to-wheels emissions. And of course avg grid mix in USA is 38% gas, 22% coal, 19% nuclear, 6% hydro. So that's substantially lower than an ICE vehicle. The goal of course, long term is to replace fossil generation with Nuclear & Hydro. And to achieve that it will take 40yrs to replace ICE vehicles with electric. Alternatively you can better run gas vehicles on methanol and diesel vehicles on DME, which can be made green from any biomass, forest overgrowth or cement plant emissions.

The problem people seem to have talking about electric vehicles is that some nutballs & idiot politicians talk like next year you're going to have to replace your ICE vehicle. No, this is a 40yr long mission. Relax, don't worry, have a home brew. I drive an ICE vehicle and I have no plans on replacing it.

No Musk is the real deal, one of very few billionaires who actual builds things, shows real talent & creativity, rather than just being a parasite thief who steals from those who do make the goods & services of our civilization. Or top of the pecking order, the criminal Banksters whose incredible wealth is entirely due to the incredible welfare bum gift our corrupt politicians bestow upon them, the right to create our money supply out of thin air. The biggest idiot on the planet could become a trillionaire if he had that gift granted to him.

I get it, you are into ICE vehicles, probably employed in the industry somehow, so you really hate Musk. You're akin to a horse & buggy salesman when Henry Ford launched the Model T. So in your fear & hatred you invent any kind of crap that pops into your head and attribute it to Musk. You deal in falsehood. I deal in truth. The truth will set us free, lies will imprison us. The truth:

Musk has been the exact opponent of the Davos Bankster Parasite Psychopaths:

1) Against the Covid lockdowns & masks right from the beginning. He wouldn't wear a mask, if he had to he wore a Texas bandanna which he just lifted up over his nose. Said he got tested 4 times in one day and got 4 different results. Moved his base from California to Texas due to their stupid lockdowns

2) He calls for INCREASING human population NOT drastically reducing it.

3) Remember he developed PayPal. He states that money is just information, a metric that measures the relative value of goods and services. The exact opposite of the criminal Banksters who demand we worship money as a god that only they control.

4) Musk promotes Dogecoin as the "People's currency". And states he wants to use that as a decentralized Mars currency. No central bank needed. No Bankster criminal parasite monopolists wanted.

5) Opposite to the Malthusian Davos Bankster birdbrains, Musk believes in expanding the human species, not contracting it, colonizing Mars and other worlds. The Banksters advocate "Limits on Growth", "Club of Rome" enforced World poverty for the people (except for them & their Toadies who will live in the lap of luxury). They want population reduction and a feudal society.

6) Musk strongly advocated for the Trucker Convoys and their message of freedom. The Banksters despised them with a passion and demanded their funding be stolen.

7) Musk runs his companies the exact opposite of these snot-swallowing, ivory tower, Aristocrats do. He is old school. He gets right down & dirty with the shop floor employees. He will sleep at the factory and get his hands dirty on the assembly line. Most of the Corporate execs nowawdays are just bean counters & aristocrat stooges, only interested in profiting through financial trickery.

Notice he can produce a rocket 5X faster, 1000X cheaper($/lb to orbit) and 4X more capable than the Aristocrat run Big Military Industrial Giants. Notice Boeing typical Aristocracy Elite Executive moved their head office from Seattle to Chicago so they wouldn't have to deal personally with the "dirty workers". More interested in profits from financialization then from spending it on making better airplanes. He instead wanted to frequent the Chicago Opera rather than visit the production line. No wonder Boeing went down the sewer.

8) While the Davos gang is advocating for reducing energy consumption via their "Great Reset" and ESG plan. Musk is calling for more gas drilling, reopening Nuclear power plants, expanding energy production. He wants economic growth, they want economic contraction.

9) NASA was claiming it would take 30yrs and $100B to develop a throwaway new heavy lift booster and Musk is doing it for $2-3B in 5yrs and fully reusable. While NASA & Boeing/Grumman/ULS will cost $35B & 30yrs developing the SLS using 80's Space Shuttle tech with 95T lift to LEO vs Starshp 156T to LEO. $4.1B per launch once a year. And still hasn't got one off the ground. Vs $2M/launch of the Starship & daily launch capability. That will open humanity up to space development & exploration, Moon & Mars colonies, large Space stations. Arguably the greatest advance in human civilization ever.

10) Musk started the first successful car company in the US in ~100ys. And electric after virtually every expert and government agency said battery electric vehicles are impractical and always will be. Go to DragTimes on Youtube and see how superior the Model S Plaid is to ICE vehicles. They usually ban them from competition due to how badly they beat big gas guzzling ICE vehicles.

11) For Mars Governance Musk is advocating for a decentralized Direct Democracy. The exact opposite of what the Davos Elitists want. They want centralized Tyranny of the most incompetent = Them.

12) Musk is creative. He is a builder. He makes things. The Davos Bankster criminals only destroy, create one economic recession or depression after another. They are the penultimate Parasites, produce nothing, good for nothing, extraordinary Wealth just because of who they are not because of what they accomplish which is much, much less than nothing. If we got rid of all these Davos Bankster Financialization creeps the World be a far better place in every way.

Like where did you get that idea from? Jesus. Musk's Neuralink is potentially a way to allow paraplegics to regain some use of their limbs. A laudable goal. Possibly one day Neuralink will be a method to have a better typewriter. So you can mentally transmit text to a computer. It would be handy dandy. But no I ain't interested in getting a hole in my head in order to type faster, my keyboard is plenty fast enough for me. Undoubtedly some people will want a hole in their head, just because they think it would be cool. Most likely the best Neuralink will do is allow paraplegics to have some rudimentary use of their non-functional limbs some day. Although a lot of analysts figure Neuralink is gonna go belly up.

At the polling booth I met a man in his 60s who had a severe case in 2021. NSW Health locked him up in a hospital for 3 weeksl. Gave him oxygen only. No meds, not even aspirins!

I have some legal study to do tomorrow. They seemed to pick me out. The other guy getting fined had been back and forwards from Ballarat to Westport for the last few years. It wasn't ignorance they fined us for, seems to have been for some sort of dissidence.

True. If you are known, they will target you. Look at the Aussie Cossack. Under NO circumstance must you broadcast any violence, or they will take out a FPO - firearms prohibition order - which they can use to stop and search you anywhere, at anytime, including your abode. Ask the Aussie Cossack. They raided his home using the FPO!

I didn't have 'covid'. Zero symptoms. Somehow I scored a + test. But the PCR tests are cycled something like 40 times when 33 will get you close to 100% false positive and god knows what the RATs picked up but an hour or two online and you realize that they're given credit for picking up many things.

They didn't ask me for test results when I left yesterday. But that scored me a 1k fine at Christchurch Airport and they just ignored my 7 days of isolation.

It was shortly after I arrived in the US from Europe, where I had not been conditioned to accept ugliness; for me, it was shocking to see abject poverty and dirt 15 yards away from elegance and opulence. I felt that anybody who can put up with that, can survive anything.

That's when I coined this figure of speech and I still find it quite applicable, except that NYC became better after that for a while and now it's probably a lot worse...

The list of the poisons, if brief explanations were included, could easily fill up a few volumes.

Yes, all the crap piles up (that's how I've got two P(iled) (h)igh and (D)eep degrees!).

Joking aside, yes, all the poisons accumulate, while the body's detox process is numbed/blocked by the endocrinal disruptors.

The question is, what can someone who understands what's going on do about it, except for trying to keep away from the poisons, which is only partially possible?
