Just need eyes wide open. I'm not saying don't do it, just know what's happened before.
Capitalism is vicious towards those who don't have capital but to be fair it doesn't look to me that Joel is one of those. But nor is he a complete insider either.
Thanks for the background digging -- I still see blockchain as a tool that can be used for good or bad, so let's see what happens. Smalley mentioned the project is based around Michael Tellinger's Ubuntu model, which certainly has a lot of promise. I wish him the best, whatever issues he has had in the past: he seems in this for the right reasons, unlike other notable Covid dissidents I could name.
Possibly. I didn't go that hard on him considering everything and as far as I can tell he doesn't live in a mansion in San Jose or Virginia. But I wouldn't get involved with this either even if did have a spare million or so.
Ah, my dreams of utopia dashed again! thanks Rich, this is a local local local revolution if it is to be any revolution at all....big moves often look enticing but they are risky as hell as well, stranded somewhere if things do not work out. It is easy to take even a mediocre or poor situation for granted for the shelter it currently provides. Folks wanna leap right now, I get it. best
I agree, and I think the more we get OFFLINE, the better off we'll be.
Enough mindfuckery...
I still haven't called anyone I'm supposed to... I think I'm escaping today. So no offense. I'm still so far behind on sleep, I'm going to watch a movie and see if it will put me out... xo
I've decided not to worry whether Covid dissident writers are highly moral; one doesn't need to be a saint to be against the bioweapons.
Just try and keep my wits about me whilst reading.
I never went in for hero worshipping. Never had popstars or musos on my pencil case.
(I must check who Smalley is though, so thanks Rich.)
A compromise:
Have a Clayton's Utopia - an Utopia you have when you are not having it!

With the way the world is right now, I'd feel more comfortable responding to one of the Somalian lottery emails I get on a daily basis.

Be careful. Remember, falling asleep in front of the TV can cause death. 😉😁
I don't have a TV. I have my own movies. I am a singularity all of my own, ha ha.
