I still get excited by Google satellite view and Google Street view.

With the street view also having images over time.

I like looking at my own property on this too, as well as for planning overseas trips and seeing what a hotel's neighbourhood is like.

There's a lot of convenience in smart phones but too much inconvenience. Google and Facebook have basically decided, with very little pushback, that all the information is theirs. And in that direction lies dystopian tyranny.

So how does their reliance on our reliance get weaponized against them? Disinfo is one way, let them systematically and obsessively scrape my fake junk for feeding into their insatiable fake sentient computer codes.

Would be nice if the populace was slightly aware of what they could do individually as well

covered the my—face-camera on iPhone with a sticker & Facebook concurrently required manual log-in… concluded that they have been collecting biometric data.

rarely take the phone with me, rarely purchase anything on the phone & use a landline to make calls.

assume they have a skinny file on me 🙀
