How infuriatingly tragic. Something tells me this won’t make the news, or if it does, they won’t mention her injection status. Does the husband have any legal recourse??
Unfortunately they're probably not well enough off to consider legal action. They've raised 25k for the father on givealittle, I doubt that he wants to spend all that on legal fees. This government is really pathetic regarding law, MyHealth is a longterm trademark for a naturopath here in NZ and yet the government does not even seem to have tried to negotiate with them but are using it nevertheless. This is the company;
And there's a lawyer that the Government have, Adrian Orr, who gives 'advice' on whether they're transgressing the Bill of Rights. He rubberstamps all their transgressions of the same. I've yet to see the #$@# push back at any of them.
One of the Southland guy's kids is back with him in Southland btw. The other one is still in Christchurch hospital which is about 7 hours away by car, if he is allowed to see him/her (I havn't checked the vaccine required to enter hospital but it would not surprise me in the least).
