I was a miner for 30 years in the US and we use the left hand side of the road while on the mining property. The worst thing I experienced was when I would be outside of the mining property, a few times I did drive on the wrong side of the road for a minute, but a person very quickly finds their way back when one realizes you are facing oncoming traffic in your lane! lol.
Amazing. Too often the infrastructure is crap both here in NZ and in Australia. I am going to try and get some work in the area at some stage although I tend to think I'm locked out of such work.
Because of the *died suddenly* the police are under instructions to test the passenger, co-pilots.
It’s a question I sometimes think about when driving. How does it
feel to switch from left to right side driving? We are creatures of habit.
Is it easy to change over?
Or, does it come naturally when in the same environment?
Some here in Australia predicted that Victoria’s Premier, Dan Andrews
would not leave the position until he had been 3,000 days in office
which entitled him to a bronze statue being erected in his honour.
Of course he has denied he remained long enough to be eligible
for the Statue.

And yes I had to think a bit on which side of the road we actually drive on here.
When I've come back from Europe a few times it has taken a little getting used to again.
Incidentally, Richard you may remember you sent me, some time ago,
an Amsterdam tape of how they were building roundabouts for the
safety of cyclists and walkers. I forwarded the tape onto my local Council.
Recently completed here is a complicated roundabout connected to a busy
main road and built along the exact lines of the Amsterdam tape.
It is safe for everyone and all are happy with it.
Is that near Noosa? Maybe the intersection coming down into Noosaville?
No it’s at the Cooroy- Noosa Road and Beckmans Road intersection.
It is a 2-lane roundabout that has remarkably eased congestion and
improved safety. It used to be dangerous trying to get out of Beckmans Rd
through the fast moving traffic on Cooroy Noosa Road.
It is not far from Tewantin.

I can suggest how that statue should be made. A bronze encasing.
