I got the same sort of shock at how Woke Arabia was when I was there last year.
It made sense when I realised the US military bases there.

It could have happened that you were seen as an enemy spy. Recall the serious trouble that the NZ woman who was collecting funds to help suffering Russians got into. Such making out like she was NZ's enemy, so she left.
It must be nice being in Moscow without tourists. You can better see what the locals look like.

I'm not sure how 'a' is pronounced in Russian but if done like the 'a' in tapu Taker gets closer to Tucker, OTOH Taker is more appropriate :D
