None of these countries, including my own, actually abolished the Covid-19 measures. They only put them on hold. All emergency policies and laws are still in effect, they're just not enforced at the moment.

Yes we need to roll them back. I suspect Netherlands pulled back a little when they saw the police under attack in Brussels and elsewhere. Is that valid?

No. As a matter of fact the reaction thus far from the Dutch police could rival their Australian counterparts. Agent provocateurs, sicking their dogs on peaceful protestors etc. Things got so bad our former militairy had to form a brigade to act as a buffer when we were peacefully protesting.

They had to tone down measures because in the best of Dutch traditions we were massively implementing civil disobedience and didn't give a shit anymore about their unenforceable rules. I've written a small article on here if you're interested.

I will check out your article.

One of the best guys here in Dunedin on the Covid stuff and other politics is of Dutch heritage. This is him in March 2020;

Thanks Proves my point even more. Too bad everyone else gave up their identity, traditions, uniqueness to follow the ‘diversity is good’ EU Mantra.

Yes that was another one that Poland pushed back on.
