It seems like so many people now are just HURT when they can't understand something, or feel that their "belief" in science has been attacked. As if truth doesn't mean shit, it's how we FEEL that's really important. I'm ready to get the hell off this faerie-go-round. I'd much, much rather be seen as a complete fool/jerk/twit/butthead/whatever than carry on believing lies.

I just watched Sam Bailey talking about this... People are so amazing in their arrogance when they're clearly, obviously, hilariously full of shit!! It'd be funny if it weren't so evil... well, okay, it's still funny. It's a truckload of monkey poox (as opposed to pox). ;)

Of all the subjects that have likely the highest levels of cognitive dissonance (and I went through it myself when I first learned about terrain theory), the idea that viruses have not been isolated and/or proven to exist (let alone caused people to get sick) should be at the top of the dissonance list. No wonder that virologists do not want to debate the veracity of their claims.

She was referring to the butterfly. The transformation of a worm to a butterfly is her proof.

The comments should be on topic at least initially. Of course conversations often veer off track but they shouldn't start that way. A commenter has just been given 30 days out although I'll unban him in a week as that's what I said I would do. A kind of yellow card.
