I think there's a lot of reasons for this 'movement'. Gaslighting so as to befuddle, told that you're not gay or lesbian if your family is very conservative, putting yourself in female spaces for advantage over other males, political activism for tyranny, inquisition to kill and control opposition. All aimed to reduce your male competition. A lot of it is somewhat incel sort of stuff.
All three guys there today know what they're doing, don't for a minute think that they're "transwomen" themselves and were really angry with me probably because Quintin no longer believes their bullshit. They (well 2/3 anyway) were so angry that I could almost see the steam rising from them. The other guy was doing his best to gaslight me (into thinking that their shit was my shit).
As a casual non-paying participant on Stack I'm just making an over riding observation to your this and recent posts. It appears you are diagnosing a horrible political injustice (I'm being nice here).
Its smart for me to not be political as I would just whack those, um, boys with a belt to their behinds.
I'm in it to be Mayor. I am strongly invested in leaving something better than what I was given. I don't like mentioning family but making sure that women and girls are not discriminated against, well I have a reason. And that is definitely not the case right now. If Aaron is allowed to continue he'll be throwing us all in at the deep end (he's very naive). If Sophie takes over the same will happen (she is also very naive). If Lee or Jules get in (not naive but very little exposure to the crazy) then they'll not know exactly how deep this goes and won't be able to push back against it hard enough. And they don't have an alternate vision that can put the WEF on notice.

It's ok, I was fine by it. I've thought the same occasionally myself.
Plan B is to try and get a position somewhere putting cycling infrastructure in. Unlikely to be here.
