I've banned Frances for 24 hours. And chose the 'remove comments' option as well so as I have a record of them that she cannot delete. So apologies if the context is now missing.

The Duck turned left at Troy with Aeneas, after Achilles killed the Amazon Queen. May have confused archer horse warriors. Scythians with Californians (Califa). Both loved the herb by all accounts.

In relation to this rewriting of history (and as always there will be some truth involved) there is a bit of a meme that has appeared over the last few years in relation to a place that was supposedly called Tartaria which according to its adherants was a wonderful place stretching across Ukraine, Siberia, the Caucasus and parts of China. I think that they also claim that it was in North America. And that it was only a few hundred years ago that it disappeared destroyed by its enemies.

This Tartaria has many similarities to Dippy Dappy Duck's Scythia. Because Scythia has mostly been written by the Greeks and may not even have been one entity it can be a little malleable. As above I consider it to have been anywhere the Greeks ran into opposition in Europe. The idea that Romans had a Scythian background is pretty much absurd. The Romans were the inheritors of the Empire that Alexander (the sources for Alexander are all several hundred years after Alexander is supposed to have lived, so for Alexander read Athens/Samos) built.

And re Samos, read its history and the history of its people and you'll wonder exactly where Jerusalem was. Was it Vathy? Why is Vathy so etymologically similar to Athens? Especially if you pig Latin it a little.

History is to a large extent bullshit (i.e. Charlemagne) but Tartaria and this version of Scythia demand that you suspend your senses a little too much in my view.

Some people just have way too much time on their hands and crave attention because they weren't affirmed by mother duck or father drake when they were ducklings.
